Motorola dua-core Android tablet specs leaked, Honeycomb UI?

Let the leaks begin! This time with the Motorola dual-core Android tablet, the specs and a screenshot of Honeycomb has been leaked out by some guy in Taiwan. While we can get all excited about the specs and Honeycomb, let’s just remember to take everything with a grain of salt, especially when we get Mr. Blurry Cam involved.

According to the leak, the specs of the Motorola Android Tablet are as follows:

  • 7″ and 10″ versions will be available
  • 1280 x 800 resolution
  • NVIDIA Tegra 2 T20 dual-core chip
  • Gyroscope
  • 5MP camera on the back
  • 2MP front camera
  • 32GB embedded MMC and a microSD slot for memory

Not bad at all and of course no one can complain about having a dual-core Android device. That will make gaming a whole lot of fun. Interestingly enough though, it seems Engadget is reporting on the 3D Live wallpaper in the screenshot as well which is a picture of Honeycomb, according to the guy leaking the info. Whether this means the live wallpaper is using 3D graphics (nothing new) or the screen supports 3D (as in glasses-free 3D) is unclear, the latter would be awesome.

Pricing is said to be around the same as high end Motorola Android phones which makes sense. Unfortunately the guy leaking the info didn’t get a release date. He is luck though, according to him, he got to play with it for an hour, stating the hardware is pretty much final but Honeycomb needs a bit more work.
