Remember when we reported on Tank Hero way back in December when it was still in beta? Well the developers have really stepped it up and released tons of content to remove that beta label. It’s free and available now on the Market with advertising that’s not too intrusive.
With the newest update it has:
- 40 levels in Campaign mode
- 40 levels in Survival mode
- 5 types of AI enemies
- 4 weapons
It’s a fast and challenging game you can play for a few minutes at a time because it loads up quickly and it’s easy on battery life from what we’ve been playing. It’s a freemium game, meaning the developer is funded by advertising within the game. It’s a growing trend for Android games, but the it’s not as intrusive as it sounds being relegated to the top right corner and out of the way.
It’s available now on the Android Market. We’ll be reviewing it as the developer continues to make improvements and build on what’s there; it’s only version 1.1 right now so it’s definitely going to grow fast.
