Plants vs Zombies finally available for Android on the Amazon App Store. Also it is the free game today!

About two weeks ago we reported on Plants vs Zombies and the fact that PopCap Games came out to say it would be made available by the end of May. We have heard it before though so imagine our surprise when we looked today on Amazon and sure enough, there it is!

Temporarily exclusive to the Amazon App Store, Plants vs Zombies is also Amazon’s free game today so you will have all day yo go get it for free. After today it will be priced at $2.99. By now 99% of the world has heard of Plants vs Zombies but just in case you are one of the rare people who don’t know about this game, basically you are in charge of various plants and it’s your job to stop waves of zombies. Think of it like a wave defense game instead of a tower defense game.
