Monster Madness THD back on the Android Market after a short vacation

Monster Madness by Southpeak Games was released for Tegra 2 Android devices earlier this year. However, for some reason a couple of months back the developers decided to take the game off the Android Market. Since then it has remained off the market until now.

Monster Madness was made using Unreal Engine 3 and features some pretty impressive eye candy. In this game you run around in a top-down perspective and using pretty much anything you can find to defends your neighborhood against zombies intent on invading it and eating everyone who lives there.

Features:

  • A console experience in the palm of your hand thanks to Tegra 2’s capabilities
  • Powered by Unreal® Engine 3 for phenomenal graphics
  • Co-op adventure mode allows two players to slay the undead together…. it’s good to share! (Local Wi-Fi only)
  • Players can join or leave a game at any time during the cooperative adventure mode
  • Interactive environments full of destructible elements, structures and objects
  • Over 70 enemy types, each with their own unique attacks and strategies
  • Drivable vehicles with player driven turrets over sprawling landscapes
  • Customize your character with over 100 power-up accessory items
  • Turn up the heat with Madness, a difficulty level that introduces tons of new enemies, and mayhem!

As with any good zombie killing game, sometimes it is just better to team up with another person and bash some zombie heads together in team fashion. Monster Madness let’s you do that in 2-player co-op mode through local WiFi. If you missed out on the initial release of Monster Madness, you can now grab it off the Android Market or through Tegra Zone for $7.99. It also now sports THD in the name where the original did not, improved graphics thanks to the new Unreal Engine? Time to find out!
