OpenFeint rolling out new social features including player message walls

OpenFeint has been quite successful on Android and already boasts over 700 games under belt that run some sort of OpenFeint features in their games. Today though OpenFeint is announcing that it has already begun rolling out a new update which brings a whole new level to their social gaming features.

Interestingly enough, even though OpenFeint started with iOS and then came to Android, this release of new features is being released on Android first before iOS. This new release of their social gaming network comes with new features such as player status updates in player profiles and a new message wall in player profiles as well where you can leave messages on your friend’s profile. This should make a lot of users of OpenFeint very happen while developers who have OpenFeint in their games won’t really have anything at all to do since this is a server-side update.
