Teamspeak finally lands on the Android Market in beta form

Great news for everyone who has been waiting for Teamspeak to finally be released for Android. It is now available on the Android Market for you to download, log into and harass your guild members or co-workers with while you are out and about.

Until now people were only really able to use Mangler for any sort of communication like this with their Android device. Teamspeak has been developing an Android version for quite some time now and it is finally good to see it actually come to pass. As expected you can connect to any Teamspeak server and join in the conversation that happens to be going on. Even better news though is that this must connect to a Teamspeak 3 server and not any sort of older version so this won’t get outdated for awhile.

Features:

  • Local bookmarks
  • Multi-server connectivity
  • Push-To-Talk (PTT) and voice activation
  • Identity management
  • Channel and player information
  • Player status notifications

If you’ve been waiting for this to come out then you should be even happier with this extra bit of info. Currently while Teamspeak for Android is in beta phase it will be free to download off the Android Market. So this is a great chance to grab it and give it a whirl. No word just yet on what the pricing will be when it leaves beta.
