Beeline Interactive launches Smurfs’ Village onto the Android Market.

Remember not too long ago that Capcom released Smurfs’ Village on various platforms such as Facebook and iOS and that children were racking up the charges on their parents credit cards due to lack of a check before purchases went through? Well this is the same game.

Beeline Interactive is the mobile gaming division of Capcom that was started up a few months ago to give Capcom a better branding for mobile gaming. Well Beeline Interactive has launched Smurf’s Village onto the Android Market, complete with all the freemium features the other platforms have. The issue with the large charges being done by children has been fixed though so it’s alright to let your children play it.

Smurfs’ Village is essentially a re-skinned Sim City/Time Management game but wrapped up in a Smurf’s theme. You have to build a new village for the Smurfs to live in. You will be able to build pretty much everything you want including specialized houses, bridges, pathways (a.k.a roads), massive gardens and crops and much more.

Features:

  • Creativity is your only limit, build a complete Smurfs’ village from scratch.
  • Play with your favorite Smurfs including Papa Smurf, Smurfette, Lazy Smurf, Baby Smurf, Handy Smurf and Jokey Smurf!
  • Purchase Smurfberries via in-app purchase to speed up the growth of your crops and village.
  • Play mini games like Greedy Smurf’s Baking Game and Papa Smurf’s Potion Mixing Game!
  • Connect with friends through Facebook and send gifts to your friends’ villages!
  • Play offline… manage your village anytime without having to connect to the internet.

The in-game currency is called Smurfberries which you can buy using real money. Smurfberries can be used to speed up the growth of plants and crops as well as speed up the building process of houses. You will probably have access to specialty items using Smurfberries as well at some point. You can download Smurfs’ Village for free off the Android Market.
