Addictive matching retro game, Bit Stack, now available on the Android Market

Keeping with the somewhat retro/classic game theme we have going on today it seems, there is a great new puzzle/matching game out on the Android Market called Bit Stack from James Bowes. This is almost as retro as it gets in terms of graphics but the gameplay is simple and addictive.

As the bits fall, you try to match them up in groups of two or more of the same color. When that is accomplished you can tap on them to remove them from the screen and claim your points. The bigger the stack, the more points you earn.

Features:

  • Cool retro graphics
  • Bleep bloopy sound effects
  • OpenFeint leaderboards and achievements
  • *NEW* OpenFeint GameFeed

Sometimes it is these simple, casual games that are available that we end up playing for ridiculous amounts of time trying to beat our own scores or the scores of others. If you get frustrated/stuck with Sweeper 3D this weekend, you can always give Bit Stack a shot as well for a nice puzzle gaming fix. You can download Bit Stack off the Android Market for free and I suggest watching to the preview video below in order to see how you can group up the matching bits as they fall.
