Gameloft Update: Modern Combat 3 release, Order & Chaos SGSII fix and more

Well it’s about that time for another update regarding all things Gameloft. Instead of making three different articles, we have decided to just group them all together here for you instead. The biggest news people are probably wondering about is, where the hell is Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation?

With our recent speculation about it coming today, as well as getting our hopes up a little bit more with the synced up release of the Adventures of TinTin onto Android and iOS yesterday, we had hoped that Gameloft would release Modern Combat 3: Fallen Nation today as was recently speculated. While we did think there was a possiblility of it not showing up today and being a typical Gameloft release, landing on iOS first then Android a few weeks later, that is exactly what appears to be happening.

While we do keep a little faith in that it could possibly be released today, there is a tweet on the Gameloft Twitter account for Android that says it will be coming in a few weeks after the iOS release.

In Order & Chaos news though, there is a bit a light in the rather dark time the game is experience with the latest security breaches that have been happening. Gameloft has released a fix for the SGSII, actually specifically the SGSIIE4GT. It now properly works and the instruction to properly fix the game for this device, if you own one, is as follows:

  • Uninstall
  • clear game data
  • re-download

This has been tested and confirmed by Gameloft as well as one of our readers who tried it out. Thanks to Duke for the heads up on this one!

On a final note about Order & Chaos regarding the security breach that has happened. It seems as though more and more people are getting their accounts restored. While some people are still missing their items and gold, at least they are getting access to their accounts back. While Gameloft has said some data may not be recoverable for some player, anyone who doesn’t get their items and gold restored will get gold and runes sent to them as compensation.

It also appears that less reports of accounts getting compromised which is another good sign for players of Order & Chaos. Gameloft does plan to introduce new security measures for Order & Chaos in Update #4 which should, hopefully, be released soon. The faster that gets out, the faster people’s accounts will be safer.

Last, but certainly not least, Brothers in Arms 2 should be landing on the Android Market soon as a free game (actually Freemium most likely). No word on just exactly when that will be but according to Gameloft, it will be ‘soon’.
