Popular Nintendo 64 emulator by Yongzh, N64oid, will get Xperia Play touchpad support soon

Yongzh, the developer of a lot of popular emulators for Android including the Nintendo 64 one called N64oid, has announced that in one of the upcoming updates that it will support the ability to use the Xperia Play touchpads. However, he won’t be doing that until the Xperia Play gets it’s Ice Cream Sandwich (Android 4.0) update.

Yongzh went on to say that the touchpads will be able to work in place of the analog sticks but he won’t be adding that feature to the emulator until the Ice Cream Sandwich update lands on the Xperia Play because it will just be easier to implement it after the Android 4.0 update. This new feature follows another great update to the N64oid emulator that happened recently where it could support multiple bluetooth controllers at once.

So if you are one of the users who enjoy using the N64oid emulator, and own an Xperia Play, you’ve got yet another cool feature coming your way soon. Of course you can only get the n64oid emulator off the SlideMe marketplace since Yongzh’s account on the Android Market was suspended.
