Halfbrick drops Amazon exclusivity, Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots on the Android Market now

Well this was certainly one of the shorter Amazon App Store exclusive launches for a game. Halfbrick only releases Fruit Ninja: Puss in Boots for Android about a week ago, exclusively on the Amazon App Store but today it has arrived onto the Android Market as well.

For those of you who do not have access to the Amazon App Store and have been waiting to get a hold of this game, the wait is now over and a lot sooner than we thought it would be. Essentially this is Fruit Ninja but themed around the Puss in Boots movie from Dreamworks. The idea is the same, slice as much fruit as you can, racking up as many points as possible without dieing.

Fruit Ninja: Puss In Boots Feature:

– Experience a new twist on classic Fruit Ninja gameplay
– Choose Desperado Mode or the new Bandito Mode
– Get encouragement from Puss in Boots as you slice
– Customize your blade (or claws)
– Post your high scores online and become the ultimate Puss in Fruits

In the Bandito game mode you will be facing new challenges that change up and get harder with each stage you pass. The Desperado mode is the classic version of Fruit Ninja but with more fruit, unique waves, and Puss in Boots’ elusive Magic Beans from the DreamWorks Animation feature film.

You will also have different customization options available just like the original Fruit Ninja with different blades/claws, backgrounds and more. The game also includes a new item to slice, the infamous Tomato. If you are up for a little fruit slicing action themed around Puss in Boots, you can now grab this game off the Android Market for around $1.02. You can check the game out in action in the trailer above.
