Breaking news today that revolves around Rovio and the Angry Birds franchise. Alright well it’s not breaking news but it is completely surprising to find out that Rovio is apparently working on a new game that isn’t themed around the Angry Birds franchise. Go ahead, we will wait while you recover from the shock.
According to an interview with AllThingsD, Rovio’s CEO Mikael Hed let it out that Rovio has a non-Angry Birds themed game in production which should be available sometime in the next few months. What this game will be remains a mystery though as Mikael would not dive further into it or talk about any of the details.
Rovio’s Angry Birds Space is due out next month and with this apparent new game on the horizon that isn’t about Angry Birds, we could see it arrive by the time everyone is done playing Angry Birds Space. So any guesses as to what this new game could be?
