The rolling mayhem of Marble Arena 2 gets a controller app for Android

If you are unfamiliar with what Marble Arena 2 is, it is a game for Windows, Mac and Linux that was created and is maintained by a couple of developers. It is an impressive game visually and has plenty of gameplay to offer. Now you can use your Android device to control the game with the official Marble Arena 2 Controller.

Marble Arena 2 offers 82 maps for you to make your way through as a marble ball. While having to navigate each level, avoid obstacles and not falling off, you are also racing against the clock. This game comes with both single player and multiplayer gameplay, a level editor to create and share levels, and the ability to play other people’s levels that they have created. Multiplayer is on a dedicated server that is up 24/7 allowing you to host your own games with other people.

You will be testing your skills on several types of surfaces, attempting to master a multitude of physics contraptions and go toe-to-toe, and sometimes toe to multiple toes, with A.I. controlled enemies bent on preventing you from achieving your goals.

This app will let you play the game on your PC while using your Android device as the controller for your marble. It does a lot more than that though. This app will connect to the game via WiFi and is a complete replacement for the keyboard and mouse, allowing you to play, navigate menus, and even create new levels or edit the existing ones. Remember though, this is not the actual game. That runs on your PC.

So if you happen to play Marble Arena 2, or are now planning on it now that you know about the game, then you may want to nab this companion application off of the Android Market. Why not, it’s free. You can check the game out in action in the video below.
