Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition coming to Android March 14th

One game we have been talking about recently on and off due to rumors it was coming to Android is Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition from Sega. Back during the Sega Valentine’s Day sale, this game was mentioned as being discounted for Android even though it wasn’t available, at least not for North America and Europe.

That is about to change though as Sega has announced that Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition will in fact be coming to Google Play on March 14th. As of right now though, there is no word as to whether this will be an Xperia Play temporary exclusive at first or not. The rumor mill is saying that it will indeed be exclusive to the Xperia Play when it initially launches. Even if it isn’t exclusive though, it should be optimized for the device so owners of an Xperia Play can take advantage of the device’s game pad when playing Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition.

Currently the game is listed in the UK version of Google Play, however it is not available right now until the 14th of March. If you try to grab it now, it will just tell you it is not compatible with your devices. It does show that 10-50 people have managed to get it somehow although that could be Sega staff testing it out for all we know. Super Monkey Ball 2: Sakura Edition will set you back $2.99 if you decide you want to go crazy collecting banana while rolling around.
