Capcom is gearing up to release the newest addition to the Resident Evil franchise called Operation Raccoon City and to celebrate the impending launch, Capcom will be overrunning the UK with zombies in a new augmented reality game coming to Android called Operation Raccoon City – UK Takeover.
There are a couple of factors you need to qualify for in order to take advantage of this neat little game from Capcom. First, to see the zombies, you will need the actual app/game from Capcom. Secondly, and more importantly, you need to be in the UK to actually play since the game is an augmented reality game based in the UK. If you fit both of those criteria then you are in luck as starting March 22nd the streets of Bristol, Manchester, and London will be filled with brain hungry zombies.
There is also one last stipulation that you need to fulfill and that is you have to be chosen, at least for the initial release of the game, in order to play it. This can be done by expressing your interest for all of this on the Resident Evil micro-site or on the Capcom Facebook page. If you are selected, you will be privy to a special live event, which will include a briefing from ‘experienced’ operatives and a hunt around the capital’s urban environment.
