Minecraft: Pocket Edition gets a new update, complete with pigs

Minecraft: Pocket Edition has received a new update today which brings a couple of new features and tweaks to the game. This is a minor update, version 0.21, and is not the full Survival Mode we are still waiting for. However, we do now have pigs.

In Survival Mode, Pigs gave been added to the game which inches us closer to a more complete Survival Mode. The controls have been reworked as well for both game modes and there is now a new optional ‘Split touch controls’ scheme that you can choose instead of the default one that is available. Flying has also been reworked in Creative Mode. When flying in Creative Mode, you ascend/descend by sliding from the center button to the up/down button.

Lastly there were a bunch of different bug fixes in this update addressing a fair amount of issues including the dark tree trunk was impossible to pick up, invisible fences, resource items in the world were always bright, pixelated destruction feedback circle, and issues with the Japanese Xperia Plays. If you own a copy of Minecraft: Pocket Edition, you can grab the update now!
