Temple Run from Imangi Games is finally unleashed onto Android

After having to wait for quite some time including previous release time frames past and gone, Imangi Studios has finally unleashed the continuous running hit of theirs onto Android called Temple Run. This is a fairly different style of continuous running gameplay than you might be used to though.

Many of you already know about Temple Run but for those of you who don’t know about this surprising hit game from iOS, Temple Run is a continuous running game but instead of side-scrolling, you are actually in an over-the-shoulder third person perspective. You will be using swipe-based gesture controls to turn your character while he runs for his life, collecting gems along the way. Aside from turns you will also be dealing with avoiding obstacles, climbing steep cliffs or running down slopes.

Graphics are all rendered in 3D visuals which is another feature that sets this game apart from your typical continuous running game. Temple Run is fast-paced and really tests out your reflexes. Originally this was released on iOS as a paid game and saw a little success. Imangi Studios decided to go and change their business model to a free-to-play with in-game purchases model and saw Temple Run explode in popularity on iOS.

Now it is available on the Google Play Store as a free-to-play game supported by in-game purchases as well. So if you have been waiting for what seems like forever to get this game, you can now hit up the Google Play link below or go through our catalog (so you know you are getting the real one) and nab Temple Run.
