Space Kiwi gearing up to invade Android devices soon

The cult hit iOS game Space Kiwi, developed by a 16 year old school student by the name of Eli Bock, is gearing up for release onto Android in the near future. The head-on shooter landed on iOS and quickly gained notoriety not only because of the developer but because the game was actually quite good.

Eli Bock was responsible for just about every major part of the game’s design from level programming to the art, music and playtesting. One the best features of the game is actually the art itself which was hand-drawn by Eli.

The game itself comes with 60 levels filled with 28 different monsters to shoot down on your way to the moon. It’s pure action shooter goodness with some great hand-drawn art which is priced at $0.99 on the iOS store. The Android version should end up being priced in a similar range. No word just yet on when Space Kiwi will land on the Google Play store but until it does, you can check out some game footage in the video above.
