Hexage announces their next title, a tower defense game called Radiant Defense

Developers going by the name of Hexage have been rather quiet for some time working on their next release for Android as well as other platforms. No real information has been available about their next game until now. It will be called Radiant Defense and it will be a tower defense game.

Having developed plenty of hit games already such as EVAC and Robotek, Hexage is bringing the glowy retro flare often found in their games to this new title as well. As you may be able to tell from the name, this follows the same world that Radiant, the shooter Hexage released, but with the retro style found in titles like Robotek.

Considering this is a tower defense game, you should already have an idea on how the game will play out. You will be building towers to defend yourself against waves of alien enemies. A total of ten locations with over 300 waves will be what you have to overcome. There will be a total of nine upgradeable towers/weapons plus you will also be able to use super-weapons which will cause mass destruction when used.

Hexage’s Radiant Defense will be released onto Android, along with other platforms, later this month. It will be free-to-play with the ability to buy additional weapon packs through optional in-game purchases in case you want to get a quick advantage right off the jump. You can check the game out in action in the video below.
