You may be familiar with who Atomicom are as they are the developers of the popular Bang Bang Racing THD game for Tegra-based Android devices as well as their other racing game called Switch for all Android devices. Well over the weekend they decided to release four new games onto Android.
Instead of making four separate posts about each game, we are going to talk about three of them here and make a second post about their forth game since their forth game is actually a beta. Their three news games, all of which are available for free off of the Google Play store, are called Cats & Bombs, Angry Wife and Tiny Jewels.
Tiny Jewels is a match-3 blitz style of puzzle game where you will be trying to match up 3 or more of the same jewels in order to eliminate them from the playing field. Each round is 60 seconds long so it is a very fast-paced game. As with any match-3 game, you have plenty of bonuses, combos and power-ups (in the form of bombs) to unlock in order to help you get higher scores.
Tiny Jewels Features:
– FAST-PACED, 60-SECOND GAMEPLAY: Match groups of colored gems as fast as you can to blast them away and earn points!
– UNLOCK BONUSES AND BOMBS: Fun bonuses and rewards for speedy play and clearing big groups! Blast away gems quickly until your gem bar fills up to get bombs!
– COMPETE AGAINST FRIENDS: See your friends’ scores on OpenFeint, and try to beat it!
– FREE TO PLAY WITH LIVES: Tiny Jewels is free to play! If you don’t want the fun to stop, you’ll need to either buy lives or wait for them to refill!
Tiny Jewels is available to download off of the Google Play store for free and can be played through without dropping a dime on the game. However, it does use an energy-based system so when you run out of energy, or in this case lives, you will have to wait for your lives to refill over time. If you don’t want to wait, you can buy lives via in-game payments.
Cats & Bombs is Atomicom’s second free game that they released onto to the Google Play store. This particular game is an action arcade title where you will be guiding your flying cat through the sky which happens to be filled with bombs and other nasty things. Controls are a simple one-touch system so you can concentrate on not having your cat get blown to bits instead of worrying about the controls.

Each round you will have three lives to use in order to achieve the highest score possible and, hopefully, getting onto the OpenFeint leaderboard. Cats & Bombs is a solid time killer if you only have a few minutes to play a game here and there.
Atomicom’s third game, which is also available for free off of the Google Play store, is called Angry Wife. This is another arcade game where you have apparently really pissed off you wife who happens to be taking her anger out on your valuable items in your house. She is grabbing your things and chucking them out of the windows of your building. What you have to do is attempt to save as many of your valuable items as possible.
Angry Wife Features:
– High quality 2D and 3D graphics.
– Sounds and music that will delight you.
– 12 levels that increase in difficulty.
– Zeemote Support
All three games are nice titles that you can play in short bursts when on break or happen to be out and about or in long play sessions when being lazy at home. Atomicom seems to have a lot of plans for Android in the near future as well including another Tegra-based racing game which we will be talking about in our next article.
