Yesterday we posted about Arcane Legends, Spacetime Studios trademark that they filed in April 2012 and was given the green light this month. As it turns out, Arcane Legends has been officially announced as Spacetime Studios’ next MMORPG for mobile devices and the studio has release more details about this new game.
Following the official announcement today are some new details about Arcane Legends. As with the past three ‘Legends’ games, this will be a cross-platform mobile 3D MMORPG. You will have three classes to choose from: Warrior, Sorcerer and Rogue. All three classes will have their own special abilities of course as well as their weaknesses.
There is one unique feature about class abilities and that is, when you are partied up with other players, you will be able to combine abilities to unlock massive combos. As you level up you will be able to also specialize in certain skills for further character customization.
Spacetime Studios is also pushing a new combat system which they are saying will be the ‘most fast-paced, action-oriented co-op and player-vs-player gameplay of any Legends title to date’. You will be able to choose between multiple quick strike or charging up to land more destructive hits.
With every Legends title we are focused on bringing something distinct to cross-platform gaming. With Arcane Legends we set out to create an action RPG with a clever and funny story, meaningful multiplayer gameplay and above all furious fast-paced tactical combat. – Gary Gattis, CEO, Spacetime Studios.
Currently there is an official website for the game as well although there is just a teaser image there as a place holder. Once again, as more details surface we will update everyone. Arcane Legends is slated for release in early Fall 2012.
