Atari 2600’s Busy Police gets remade and dropped onto Google Play as Crazy Police

Continuing on with some more retro gaming news, the Atari 2600 game Busy Police has been remade by a developer named Martin Edmaier (a.k.a Retro Game Studio) and is officially called Crazy Police. Originally developed by Zellers and released back in 1983, Busy Police, now known as Crazy Police, has you controlling a police officer doing what they do best, catching criminals.

You are tasked with catching a criminal three times in each level in order to progress to the next one. Each level is randomly generated as well so every time you play this game it will also be different which adds to its replay value.

Crazy Police Features:

– Random level: every time you start the game the experience is different.
– Beautiful retro graphics and character animation
– Random levels
– Special items
– Three controls schemes.

There are various control schemes to suit your gaming style and, of course, on-screen controls being on of them. All of the graphics are straight out of the Atari 2600 to give you that nostalgic feel to it just as if you were playing it on an actual 2600 versus your Android device. Like we mention, Crazy Police is currently in Beta status and as such, if you pick it up now, you’ll be able to nab it for free.
