Rockstar Games announces Max Payne is coming to Android June 14th

Rockstar Games has just tweeted from their account that the mobile version of Max Payne for Android is indeed coming this month which we previously mentioned last week. However, they have gone so far to announce an official release date for the game this time.

So when can we get out hands on Rockstar Games’ next release onto Android. According to the tweet, Max Payne will be available sometime on June 14th. Of course we are sure many of you are probably expecting another delay which is totally reasonable considering how long this first delay has been.

Max Payne Features:

– HD graphics
– High-resolution textures
– Social Club connectivity
– User-customizable controls
– Gamepad support for select USB controllers.

Here is a list of supported Android devices at the time Max Payne launches:

Supported Android Phones: Motorola Razr,  Razr Maxx, Motorola Atrix, Motorola Photon, Motorola Droid Bionic, HTC Rezound, HTC One X,  HTC One S,  HTC Evo 3D, HTC Sensation, HTC Droid Incredible 2,  Samsung Galaxy Nexus, Samsung Nexus S, Samsung Galaxy Note, Samsung S2, Samsung Galaxy R, Sony Xperia Play, Sony Xperia S, Sony Walkman Z Series Media Player

Supported Android Tablets: Acer Iconia, Asus Eee Pad Transformer, Asus Eee Pad Transformer Prime, Dell Streak 7, LG Optimus Pad, Medion Lifetab, Motorola Xoom, Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.9 / 10.1, Sony Tablet S, Sony Tablet P, Toshiba Thrive, HTC Flyer, HTC Jetstream

On the flip side though, the delay may be worth it so that we can have the game released without any bugs in it. Max Payne fans, mark your calenders. You have three whole days to wait before we can start taking down criminals as the bad ass Max Payne. When this game lands on Android, you will be able to pick it up for $2.99.
