A few preview screenshots and details reveal a closer look at Arcane Legends MMORPG

Spacetime Studios recently announced their next mobile cross-platform MMORPG called Arcane Legends. Shown off a bit during E3 2012 which just ended, we now know a little more about this upcoming game slated for an end of Summer or early Fall release this year.

The overall consensus is that Arcane Legends is the best looking ‘Legends’ title that the company has put out so far. This is in reference to not only the visuals and the UI but the gameplay as well. It seems as though Spacetime Studios has taken what worked in Pocket Legends, Star Legends and Dark Legends and combined it to for Arcane Legends.

This also applies for the game mechanics as well where the charge up attacks from Dark Legends make another appearance but there will also be quick rapid hit attacks as well. The AI for enemies has also improved meaning ranged attack enemies will try to stay away from players who are melee classes. This means that there will be more of a team effort needed to clear through dungeons. Combining all of this with the new combo attack system we mentioned previous in our other article, where players can combine powers with other team members to unleash massive damage attack, and it seems Arcane Legends could very well be Spacetime Studio’s best game yet.

Of course we will have to wait and see how true this is since we haven’t gotten any hands-on time with Arcane Legends just yet. Re-speccing is also available should you not agree with what the game hands you in terms of starting stats, something you used to have to pay for. This brings up in-game purchases which apparently is geared towards vanity items and non-essential items. Anything that is essential for the game will be available naturally in the game.

Team play and strategy seems to have been one of the main focuses for Arcane Legends aside from bringing the best of all the previous ‘Legends’ titles into one game. When we get our hands on a copy, we will be able to go much more in-depth with Arcane Legends. For now though we get to enjoy a few screenshot courtesy of PocketGamer.
