Sure the Tower Defense genre for any platform, especially mobile, has a plethora of titles available to play whether good, bad or awesome. So when a rather unique tower defense games shows up, it is something to talk about and Plutonic Repulse is definitely unique.
Instead of defending a base of some kind, as with most tower defense games, in Plutonic Repulse you are actually the point that needs defending, not some sort of base. Your towers are actually living moving creatures who you have to befriend and make your ally in order for them to protect you. In fact you have no way of protecting yourself aside from building these allies with other creatures who then become your ‘towers’.
Visually this game looks quite nice and plays out quite well. Obviously if you are used to the standard type of tower defense games, this one will take some getting used to but it does present some new challenges that refreshes an otherwise tired genre. However, before running out and grabbing Plutonic Repulse you will need to know one thing which is that a requirement to play this game is 1GB of RAM. Any devices without that much RAM won’t be able to enjoy this game.
