Our friends over at Door 6 have released a new game onto the Google Play store today called Atmo. You may or may not remember Door 6 as it has been quite some time since they released a game for Android. For those of you who have been around Android for awhile, you may remember their tunnel racing game Vacuum which also had cash prize tournaments.
Their new game Atmo is a completely different type of game than what Vacuum is. Atmo is a multiplayer space combat game where you’ll be going up against other players in real-time combat. Visuals are all rendered in some pretty nice 3D graphics and if you have any troubles getting the hang of the game, there is a tutorial included which can help speed up your turn around time from just starting out in the game to being an ace in it.
This is a complete multiplayer game so there is no single player content at all. In fact Atmo is an ongoing struggle between two teams, one of which you will automatically join when you launch the game. There is also Facebook integration as well which will allow you to check out your stats from the game and keep track of your scores.
Door 6 also has a fair amount planned for Atmo in future updates including the ability to challenge Facebook friends, end of round scores, and finally achievements and higher ranks you can earn. Also more ship customization is slated for the future as well.
