The official mobile game for the Amazing Spider-Man movie has finally swung its way onto the Google Play store thanks to Gameloft. Appropriately named The Amazing Spider-Man, this is one of the two movie-based titles that Gameloft has coming to Android, the other being The Dark Knight Rises.
The Amazing Spider-Man doesn’t stray too far from how Gameloft’s first Spider-Man game plays out although it does seem to be a bit more open world and the visuals definitely look like they have received a bit of an upgrade over the first Spider-Man title.

As you may be guessing, you’ll be saving New York from crime and all the bad guys including the Lizard Man and his little minions. Gameloft is sporting this as an open world game so you will be able to roam about the city and uncover random mission, collectibles and other secrets whether you are on a mission at the time or not.
If you have been waiting for both of Gameloft’s movie tie-in games to be released onto Android, you can now at least grab one of them off of the Google Play store for the usual price of $6.99 and get to running and swinging through a major US city wearing blue tights.
