We have been waiting for a little while now for the next update to arrive to Minecraft: Pocket Edition and it now looks as though it could be arriving real soon, as soon as next week. According to recent tweets from Daniel Kaplan who is the project manager over at Mojang.

Madfinger Games are synonymous with the mobile gaming scene on Android, what with the massive success of their previous titles – Samurai II: Vengeance and Shadowgun. Their games have been known to be the standard bearers on mobile platforms, especially in the graphics department. Released amid high expectations amongst Android gamers, how does their latest game, Dead Trigger, fare?
WorkEffective have just come back from the grave after almost a year without movement on the Google Play store. This time, after being dedicated to Children-oriented apps and games, they’ve come with an interesting Hack ‘n’ Slash game. The Runes Guild is, told by WorkEffective themselves, an “Old fashion hack & slash game with modern graphics”.
Big news today if you happen to be a fan of MMORPG titles to play on your Android device and even more so if you happen to be a fan of the PC-based MMORPG from Nexon called MapleStory. Nexon has just released a version of Maple Story onto the Google Play store called MapleStory Live.
We haven’t reported on the Amazon free game/app of the day in awhile which is due to the fact most of them recently, aside from a few notable exceptions, haven’t really been that amazing for one reason or another. However today’s free game is actually pretty entertaining and come to us courtesy of Untamed Games.
Archos is a company that is most recently known for producing an affordable line of Android 4.0 tablets. It will continue this trend with the introduction of new line of tablets that will carry a branding Archos is calling “Elements.” The first tablet from the Elements line is called the Archos 97 carbon.
It is Thursday and that means another release onto Android from Noodlecake as part of their Game-A-Week Project, or GAWP for short. This week’s release gives you the ability to kill a cowboy is 31 different ways with a game called Ready Steady Bang from Animade.
Chillingo, a publisher of mobile games who generally deals with iOS releases, has turned around and launched three games onto Google Play. Chillingo did start releasing Android games awhile ago but eventually took a break from it aside from the rare title here and there. After EA purchased Chillingo, we predicted more games would arrive on Android and it seems to slowly be coming true.
We really don’t have a lot of games available on Android just yet that caters to our need for rampant destroying buildings and other properties. So far we have Demolition Inc from Zeroscale Games as our only really offering for this sort of destructive enjoyment. HandyGames, however, has released a new game called Bulldozer Inc which might help fill that void.
