Great news if you are a fan of all things Transformers as we just got word that Hasbro is teaming up with DeNA to bring Transformers based games to iOS and Android. The two companies have entered into an exclusive 3-year contract where DeNA will be releasing Transformers games for mobile devices.
As it stands right now there is very little detail about what type of games these will be, when they will be released and what will be included in them. However, considering that this partnership is with DeNA and will be released on the Mobage social gaming platform, we can assume that there will be social aspects to these Transformers games, possibly with multiplayer and, more than likely, some sort of in-game purchases. This also means it is very likely that these upcoming Transformers games will be free to download.
The first game is slated for release worldwide, except for Japan, later this year. Other than that, we don’t know a whole lot yet but the moment more details come out, we will be sure to update everyone. Until then, check out the press release below.

The first TRANSFORMERS game from DeNA will be released on the Mobage™ social gaming platform for iOS and Android mobile devices worldwide, with the exception of Japan, later this year.
