Flyleap’s little Dragon 3D glides into the sunset and onto Google Play

Flyleap studios is giving us a game that helps breaks the Weird Wednesday bit of a routine we’re having. Originally being an iOS developer, they are now moving onto Android thanks to their game development which is done using the Unity3D Engine. As great as this game looks, there’s a bit of a throwback with some bugs, and we’ll talk about that as well.

little Dragon 3D is basically a semi-continuous flying game in which you must fly a friendly dragon towards a sunset, trying to move it away from rocks and bridges and going faster as you dive towards the ground. It uses a stamina system (not the one everyone’s afraid of found in some Freemium games though) that allows you to flap your wings and gain some height as long as you have the stamina available. You can win stamina faster by diving longer and flying faster overall, or by picking the orbs that appear throughout the game.

Now graphically speaking, the game not only uses some great cel-shaded visual, but also includes full movement and physics effects in it. They do enhance the feeling of speed or slowness necessary in a game of this type and include a graphics control to set the graphics level for better performance should you not have a high-end Android device. There’s room for improvement though since there are still some bugs here and there, mostly regarding the control’s layout and responsiveness.

little Dragon 3D really gives you the graphic and sounds of high-end gaming title and with some improvements in the layout of the controls it could becomes quite a popular game for Flyleap Studios in the Google Play store. If you’re wondering how much this little gem will cost you then you’ll be happy to know that it will set you back only $1.02.
