Bumblebee Studios are gearing up to release their first game onto Android called Derat Inc. A puzzle game which will settle the score once and for all regarding the never ending fight between cats and rats. Who will finally come out on top depends on how well you play the game.
Derat Inc. will have you playing as a team of three cats and your job is to rid the city of what appears to be a serious rat infestation. This action / puzzle game requires you to move your trucks around, cleaning the buildings that get infested as fast as you can before the infestation spreads to buildings close to it.
Derat Inc. Features:
– Colorful cartoony graphics, addictive quirky soundtrack and a tongue-in-cheek humor.
– A score system that rewards skillful players by combining shooter-style combos and the constantly increasing difficulty of puzzle games.
– 15 levels featuring three different scenarios.
– A variety of modes and gameplay variations, including boss battles and a mind bending endless mode.
– Leaderboards.
There are a few different aspects that you will need to juggle effectively in order to be successful at this game. There is the time management aspect of it because cleaning a building takes time so you will need to be quick to get your trucks from one place to another the moment they are done cleaning a building. You also have all three trucks that you will need to move around and on top of that try to collect power-ups that appear.
The visuals were done by illustrator Davide Pettani and the music for Derat Inc. was created by Alessandro Coronas who also did the music for the Where is my heart? game. As of right now this game is slated for release at the end of August onto Android. Until then you can check out the trailer above to get a better idea of the game.
