During Mobile World Congress 2012, HandyGames announced that they would be re-vamping their popular strategy/sim game, simply called Townsmen, and that they would be releasing it on Android. Well it looks like the re-vamping is done and now fans of the series can grab a copy of the new Townsmen off of Google Play.
In Townsmen you will be building your kingdom, starting off as a little village and growing slowly into a big medieval kingdom. HandyGames have improved just about every feature from the Townsmen series and released it in this one game. There are a lot more structures, better visuals, easier starting off in the game for newcomers, and deeper gameplay. There are now production chains and building management with the overall goal of establishing a flourishing town.

When it comes to resources, you will have to mine for them whether it is mining for minerals or logging for wood. You can also take these resources and create products with them, not just structures. Products like jewelry, tools and clothing are some of the items you will be creating with your kingdom.
Overall Townsmen is a lot deeper, more improved and simply a much more enjoyable experience then its predecessors. For those of you interested in nabbing a copy, you can do so off of the Google Play store for free.
