For those of you eagerly awaiting the next update to Minecraft: Pocket Edition and what it may or may not bring, we now know a couple of things that it will come with. The next update will be labeled as 0.4.0 and will come with a couple of major items, most notably the possibly most hated creature in the game, The Creeper.
Yes, The Creeper, the silent but deadly exploding green monster that loves to scare the crap out of just about everyone who plays the game will be making it’s way to Minecraft: Pocket Edition in the 0.4.0 update. You will need to be prepared to quickly get your sword out and start hitting them when you hear that hissing suddenly.
Along with the Creeper though, Chests will be introduced into this update as well. So before you get yourself blown up by a Creeper, you can at least save your items in a chest. Chests will be able to hold inventory items including apples and bed which means we could see beds arriving real soon if not in this update. Still missing from the game are caves and online multiplayer although there is a way to achieve the latter of the two.
For now though you have roughly a month to wait before you need to start worrying about the nightmare-ish green creatures blowing up you, your house and everyone you love.
