Slay brings strategy and conquering in the medieval time to Android

A new turn-based strategy game has arrived on Android called Slay. Developed by Sean O’Connor, this new strategy game is set in the medieval period where you will be controlling your forces, starting off with peasants, and attacking your enemy’s territories in the hopes of conquering them and add them to yours territories.

As you conquer land, you want to make sure you link up your existing lands with them in order to make them stronger. As your lands get stronger, they become wealthier, allowing you to arm yourself with stronger troops aside from a bunch of peasants. This isn’t just a head-to-head game either. You have a selection of islands to choose from and on each island there will be you and five other opponents, all gunning for the same goal, domination of the entire island.

Visually, Slay is fairly basic but that is pretty much what it should be. The core of the game is in the strategy and mechanics of it. While you build up your forces, you will also have to make sure you don’t create too many expansive troops otherwise you will go bankrupt, so you will have to manage your money.

If you are a fan of strategy games where the focus is on the actual game and not just some eye candy, then you might want to check out Slay. You can grab a copy of Slay off of the Google Play store for $6.00.
