Originally released onto Android and iOS in Japan as Karakuri Conquista, this social RPG based around the world of Steampunk has now arrived onto English speaking shores as Conquista Fantasia. Released by Funnel Inc and developed by Nijibox, this new RPG features a pretty big single-player storyline as well as PvP gameplay.
This particular RPG fits somewhere between a completely menu driven RPG and a TCG-esque type of game. While the core of everything is menu driven, there is enough visuals to make it feel like more of a TCG even though you aren’t collecting a variety of monsters or anything like that. Weapons and other items, however, you do collect and a lot of them.
You’ll be able to pick from one of two factions, each with their own theory based off of the Steampunk work and the science behind it all. From their you’ll pick your class that you want to play as and then enter the world, defending it against the threat of the Automata’s. One interesting feature of this game is the PvP though, which is similar in style to Guild Wars 2 in the way of having influence over the affairs of the world with your faction.
