There is a new cross-over that will be coming to the world of Angry Birds and will completely themed around Star Wars. This morning the official announcement event will be happening in Time Square over in New York at 10am EST but we’ve already learned more about this new game along with when it will be arriving and yes, it will be a whole new game. Think of Angry Birds Rio but instead with Star Wars.
According to Rovio, this is the best Angry Birds game they have made so far and will feature a ton of goodies from the Star Wars universe. Multiple platforms will be getting this new game when it launches on November 8th, 2012 such as iOS, Android and the Kindle Fire tablets. Angry Birds Star Wars will have players battling the Empire at classic Star Wars location, feature the gravitational effects used in the Angry Birds Space app, and with a little tribute to John Williams; the app will feature the classic sounds from the movie.
Since Halloween is on its way, there will be a variety of costumes as well themed after this new game even though it won’t be released until after Halloween is over. Until then though, we have a little teaser trailer to check out above.
