Shadowgun: Deadzone public beta hits Google Play for Tegra 3 devices

The multiplayer version of Shadowgun from Madfinger Games has arrived in Public Beta form on Google Play moments ago. Having been in closed beta for a short time,the public beta is now available for anyone who owns a Tegra 3 Android device for right now. This public beta will last a week before opening up for more people to join.

For those of you who’ve missed our coverage of Shadowgun: Deadzone, this is the online multiplayer spin-off of Madfinger Games’ Shadowgun third-person shooter for Android. This multiplayer edition of the game has been in the works for some time now, having been previewed as far back as CES 2012. The current version of this game comes with four playable classes: Soldier, Mutant, Assassin and Dancer with more coming soon.

Weapon-wise, Shadowgun: Deadzone comes with plenty of weapons and gear for you to use when shooting other player in the face. Guns such as the Vega (Attack Rifle), Big Boy (Machine gun), Spate – (Plasma Rifle), Mace – (Shotgun) while there will be plenty of gadgets like Med Kits, Flash Bangs, Ammo Kits and pretty much everything you would expect to be in a multiplayer shooter. As of right now though there are only two maps but more will come in the near future.

If you’re finally ready to try out Shadowgun: Deadzone then head on over to the Google Play store and download it for free. When it fully launches, there will be a few IAPs available as well, most likely for unlocking new characters and more less important items like that. The full release will be in a few weeks.
