Shadowgun: DeadZone public beta drops Tegra 3 exclusivity, now everyone can join in the action

One of the games I’ve been spending a lot of time on lately is Shadowgun: DeadZone. Well, for now it is a public beta, but even then the game is very much playable with no bugs of note. The developers – Madfinger Games – are however adding in new features and optimizing performance with frequent updates.

The latest update sees Shadowgun: DeadZone opening its doors to anyone with an Android device running on Honeycomb (Android 3.0) and above. Yes, I see that smile. So what’re you waiting for? Go download the game already! In case you live under a rock and are wondering what this game is all about, Shadowgun: DeadZone is a free online third-person multiplayer shooter.

Aside from global availability, some new important features have been added. The research section has been unlocked, allowing you to research for new weapons, items and perks. You also earn in-game cash now. Finally, users are now able to earn XP and level up. The game is slowly forming into a release candidate, so we shouldn’t be far off from a v1.0.
