Music-driven bullet hell shooter Beat Hazard Ultra blasts onto Google Play

Previously we published that the Beta/demo version of this game was available from the developer’s website, Cold Bean Games, but now you can download the demo (full version available via in-game purchase) direct;y from the Play store. Originally released onto Steam for PC gamers, Beat Hazard Ultra is a music-driven bullet hell shooter where the intensity of the gameplay is based off of the music you are listening to.

Play a nice mellow song and you can calmly shoot away, but play a little rock, metal or anything fast-paced and you are in for a manic few minutes with the screen filling will bullets and power-ups until you finally are destroyed or make it to the end of the song. For controls you have a very appropriate set up: dual joysticks.

Beat Hazard Ultra Features:

– Levels created from YOUR music collection (On SD card)
– Simple 1 stick mode for beginners
– Twin stick mode for the pros

Unlock the full version:

– Play to all of your music (On SD card)
– Play to internet radio stations
– Boss Rush, Survival & Chill Out game modes
– Rank up and unlock 23 perks

Now you are able to play complete music tracks, shoot down more enemies and progress with a great leveling up and perks system.  There are some other IAPs, but nothing that kills the game if you don’t buy them.  The full game will cost you £1.49, but with 3 game modes, access to all your music and internet radio, this game has a lot going for it.  This game is great on PC and none of its appeal has been lost on its journey to Android.
