Rovio has announced via their Twitter account that Angry Birds Star Wars will be getting a new content update on November 29th, 2012 (tomorrow). This update will feature the Planet Hoth and to tease ever Angry Birds Star Wars fan out there, Rovio has released a promotion trailer about the update, adding yet another video to the library of promotional videos already available for this game.
As to what will actually come in the update, that is being kept under wraps. However, Rovio has a bit of a pattern when it comes to updating any of their Angry Birds games and generally we see 15 new levels in an update so we can expect somewhere around that number for the amount of new levels that will be arriving in the Planet Hoth update. The teaser trailer above also focuses heavily on the AT-AT Walkers, so we could be seeing a lot of them in this update which they also hinted at over on their YouTube channel in the promo video’s description.
Of course there will most likely be at least one hidden Golden Droid level to find and Rovio has mentioned that the pink bird, Princess Leia, will be making her debut in this update as well. Her power is called GFD Device and we have absolutely no idea what that could be. Luckily we won’t have to wait long to find out since the update will be arriving tomorrow after all.
