Gameloft shows off Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour’s multiplayer mode in new dev diary video

Gameloft is making sure to keep their upcoming addition to their Modern Combat series of games in the back of everyone’s mind for when it is actually released. One way they are doing this is by releasing a variety of videos, including a Development Diary series, showcasing different features that will be arriving with Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour. Their latest one, which they released a few days ago, showcases the multiplayer gameplay that will be coming with the game.

For Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour, Gameloft has apparently redesigned the whole multiplayer experience in order to ensure the best possible multiplayer gameplay on Android and iOS. Multiplayer will consist of having up to 12 players battling it out on a variety of maps and game modes such as a mode called Warfare. This particular game mode for multiplayer is a lot like Zone Control in other FPS games except that each zone you capture gives you and your team certain perks like continuous radar scanning.

Weapons are also vastly improved upon in multiplayer with customization of weapons coming in the form of over 100 different attachments ranging from scopes to silencers and so on. There is plenty of other features that will come with multiplayer in Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour but the ones mentioned here are the features that the developers in the video mainly focus on. Still no word on an actual release date unfortunately.
