New details released about 11 Bit Studios upcoming Anomaly Korea tower offense game

11 Bit Studios are responsible for one of the more better tower offense games on Android called Anomaly Warzone: Earth. Back in August of this year the company announced that it would be making a sequel to Anomaly Warzone: Earth which would be called Anomaly Korea and would come with a host of new features.

Unfortunately when we posted about Anomaly Korea originally, we didn’t know a whole lot about what this new sequel would come with. Well our friends over at 11 Bits Studios have dropped us a note with plenty of details regarding their upcoming tower offense game. For those of you unfamiliar with what a tower offense game is, basically it is like a tower defense game but instead of playing the role of defending something, usually your home base, in a tower offense game you play as the attacking units trying to destroy the enemy’s main base.

Anomaly Korea will come with 12 new missions for players to work their way through along with new units to deploy and new powers at your disposal as you attempt to wipe out the ‘alien scum’ that have invaded Earth, or in this case, Korea. The enemy, however, also has some new units and powers up their sleeve.

Anomaly Korea Features:

• Think tactically across 12 new missions
• Deploy new player powers and units to take on new enemies
• Put your skills to the test in ‘Art of War’ mode
• Cutting-edge visuals and a stunning soundtrack with full voice acting
• Graphics optimized for today’s most powerful Android devices

This new sequel will also come with full voice acting and a new game mode called ‘Art of War’ which, even though we don’t have details about how this new game mode will play out, sounds pretty interesting. The visuals have also gotten an overhaul and look pretty damn nice as well.

As of right now there is no official release date for Anomaly Korea onto Android although it was originally slated to arrive ‘this Fall’. Since 11 Bit Studios is now promoting the game once again, it could be arriving any day now. Still no word on pricing but if it follows what Anomaly Warzone: Earth was priced at, we can expect it to be around the $3.99 mark.
