Expendable Rearmed from Retrobomb to get controller support real soon

Retrobomb recently released onto Android a re-vamped and re-images version of the classic Dreamcast game called Expendable. While the game is pretty slick as it is, Retrobomb has been working hard on improving it even more and they have done it by adding controller support to Expendable Rearmed.

For those of you unfamiliar with Expendable Rearmed, this game features a top-down isometric viewpoint where you control your character in a rather fast-paced dual-stick style shooter. There are plenty of weapon upgrades, booster items such as health packs and ammo packs, and plenty of alien enemies to shoot in the face. Tegra device owners are treated to extra eye candy as well but the game is available for everyone.

Until now the controls have been strictly touchscreen but since the game’s release Retrobomb has been working on bringing controller support to the game. You will be able to use standard HID controllers such as the Logitech, Xbox360, and PS3 controllers. It will also come with custom support for the MOGA controller as well.

As of right now there is now exact release date for when this update will arrive but we can safely say that it will be pretty damn soon considering we have an advanced copy of the game with the controller support that we are playing right now. When the update does go live, we will update everyone. This game is even better playing with a controller.
