Gameloft pulls a Rockstar, Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour pulled from Google Play

What was supposed to be the official launch of Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour last night has unfortunately taken a turn for the worst and Gameloft has pulled the game from Google Play temporarily. The problem? Well we don’t exactly know what specifically the issue was but a Gameloft spokesperson did release a statement to PocketGamer to address the issue… sort of.

Until the download conditions are back to normal we have decided to temporarily deactivate Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour from Google Play. – Gameloft

Basically there was some sort of downloading issue with Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour was released onto Google Play. In order to avoid a plethora of bad ratings from people complaining the game doesn’t work, Gameloft has pulled it from Google Play temporarily until the problem is fixed. So if you were lucky enough to download the game and it worked for you, congrats. The rest of the world has to wait until the game comes back to Google Play.

Of course when the game is back on Google Play, we will post an update so you can go buy it.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
