Gameloft’s Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour is back up on Google Play

It appears that Android gamers are getting a double shot of good news in the past 24 hours. Along with Rockstar Games putting Grand Theft Auto: Vice City back onto the Google Play store, Gameloft has also put Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour back up as well after it to was taken down due to some downloading issues users were experiencing.

The problem, which is exactly the same issue Broken Sword II was experiencing, is a 941 Error when trying to get the secondary download. It looks like it is more of a Google Play issue than an actual development issue since multiple developers have experienced this problem over the past couple of days. However, it appears that things are pretty much back to normal though now.

However, if for some reason you experience the 941 Error while trying to download the additional assets, Gameloft has also published right in their Play store listing steps to try in order to kick start the download. These steps are 1) Try waiting for 60-90 min; due to the size of the game, the data download may take some time to initiate and 2) Try clearing data and cache in the application settings of the Google Play app (re-login will be required in Google Play). If the problem persists, they say to contact their support.

Users seem to not be having much of a problem downloading the game and additional files though so if you haven’t done so yet, you can snap up a copy of Modern Combat 4: Zero Hour for $6.99.

Thanks to everyone who sent this in!
