Zen Studios happens to be the developers behind one of the two main pinball platforms on Android called Zen Pinball. Up until now the official name of their platform was Zen Pinball THD but if you go to the Google Play listing now it will show up as Zen Pinball HD. This is because the platform, once exclusive to Tegra-based devices, is now available for select Android devices that do not have a Tegra chipset inside.
While Tegra-based devices will still benefit from the extra eye candy, non-Tegra devices will now be able to download and play Zen Pinball along with all the eye candy that comes with the platform. There is actually a setting in the game now where you can switch to enable the THD version for Tegra devices or shut it off for non-Tegra devices. This also means you will have access to a variety of pinball tables to download and play via in-game purchases. These pinball tables are custom made with various themes ranging Marvel-based themes to other story-based ones.

When you download the Zen Pinball platform, which is available for free, you will also get one free pinball table called The Sorcerer’s Lair. In total there are 15 tables available right now (Sorcerer’s Lair (FREE!), X-Men, Epic Ques, Wolverine, Fantastic Four, Thor, Captain America, Avengers, World War Hulk, Ghost Rider, Blade, Civil War, Excalibur, Tesla, Paranormal) and if you follow us on a semi-regular basis, you already know that Zen Studios regularly release new in-game content in the form of new tables available for purchase.
