The Nintendo DS classic Touch Detective arrives onto Google Play

Fans of the cult classic game from the Nintendo DS handheld system called Touch Detective have some good news today as Beeworks Games have brought Touch Detective over to Android. For those of you not familiar with this game, Touch Detective stars a little girl named Mackenzie who goes around solving mysteries along with some of her friends who help her along the way.

You will be taking on the role of Mackenzie and going around solving mysteries with her pet fungus and some of her friends. Essentially this is a point & click adventure game where investigating items or people is done just by tapping on them. Along the way you will collect information which will be clues to solving the mystery you’re working on at the time.

Touch Detective is an episodic adventure but luckily all the episodes, including bonus content, is available right away. When you download the game, you will get the first chapter for free as well as the first part of the second chapter for free as well. The game even includes the “too hardboiled” intro movie for those of you who want to watch it. Keep in mind that the humor in the game can be slightly odd and twisted at times. You are also treated to the ability of listening to the game’s background music through the Jukebox options as well.

For those of you interested in checking this game out, you can download Touch Detective off of Google Play for free. The additional chapters cost $4 each or you can snap them all up for $9 total.
