As if there aren’t already enough zombie games flying around on Google Play, you can now thank former NBA basketball star Shaquille O’Neal for adding one more game to that menacing list with ShaqDown. Developed by Hiptic Games, this is a game with a simple kind of design where you jump between three levels and take on hordes of zombies by throwing a basketball and unleashing a special power.
The game’s got a story mode with three levels, each one beginning with a short comic-strip like cutscene and ending with a boss battle. Once you’re done with that, you unlock a new game mode (most probably some kind of endless mode). You can also upgrade the character and purchase new skins as you progress, or take some short-cuts with in-app purchases.

Besides the star name of Shaquille O’Neal, there really doesn’t seem to be much in this game in the short time I spent with it. But heck, if you simply must check it out or are a big fan of his, then you can get ShaqDown off Google Play for $0.99.
