DeNA signs up four more companies for Mobage, Viral Collapse released

DeNA today has announced that the company has signed agreements with four more game development studios to bring future games to DeNA’s Mobage social gaming platform. The four companies are Machineworks Northwest, Grab Games, 4PLAT and Oktagon Games with all four companies bringing future titles to Mobage.

All four companies have actually been around for some time now on both Android and iOS but out of the four you might recognize at least one name, Machineworks Northwest. This company was responsible for bringing Duke Nukem 3D, Painkiller: Purgatory HD and the 3D Hunting series to Android. What future game(s) they will be bringing to Mobage remains to be seen.

With this new agreement we already have had one game launched so far which is Viral Collapse from Oktagon Games. Viral Collapse is a match-3 style of game but with a different kind of mechanic over the usual match-3 games. To eliminate viruses from the playing field, you will need to match them in a particular pattern and not just putting three or more of the same virus together.

Viral Collapse Features:

– 5 Useful POWER-UPS (and many more to come)
– Create COMBOS to score big points (pay attention to the audio cues)
– Global and Friends LEADERBOARDS
– A good set of ACHIEVEMENTS with many more to achieve

There also happens to be hidden tips and secrets you can find in-game which you can then implement in order to get much higher scores. As with all games on the Mobage platform, Viral Collapse is available to download for free and comes with optional in-game purchases.
