[Updated] EA to launch Real Racing 3 for Android on February 28th

Electronic Arts and Firemonkeys have finally decided to let the world know when Real Racing 3 will be released for all platforms. While Firemonkeys had been teasing everyone about the game with their developer diary videos, it was always stated that the game would be coming to mobile, using the generic term instead of saying iOS or/and Android.

However, we now know the release of Real Racing 3 will be simultaneous across all platform this February 28th, 2013. For those of you who haven’t been following the Real Racing 3 news as of late, this game will feature photorealistic tracks, 45 highly detailed cars and multiplayer, which is being called Time Shift multiplayer, where you can race against friends or other people regardless if they are online at the time or offline.

We’ve see how the game will look thanks to all the developer diary videos and it looks pretty slick at least with the visuals. Let’s hope the gameplay is as good as it looks. We will be finding out soon at the end of this month.

Update February 11th, 2013 11:25am: Real Racing 3 will be available as a free-to-play game. We will have to wait and see just how this is implemented until the game is released.
